thanks, unfortunately the base has to stay green as I am painting a bunch of space marines for a friend and they should have a uniform base colour. I'll see what I can do about more shading on the face.
It's definatley above average table top quality, I've got a few suggestions though:
First use a different colour for the base, the green doesn't go well with the blue, I'd suggest using bestial brown or something similar for the base edge and then a dark colour for the top (city rubble perhaps)
I'd recommend shading the face just a little but more to really make it pop
Apart from that it's really good. String flat colour, nice gold on the helm, and a solid red on the banner. If you changed the bae then it would be an easy 7 for me.
