as some one who as always had trouble painting black armour, ie i never get the high lights right, this is very nice the free hand is great , and as for the hand shield he looks like he is hoding it to me, so i cant see the trouble with that, and yes mould line on tyre is a pain but like hey ay that is a GW flaw not the painters,i get rid of them by painting on a little polly glue ns when fine sanding overit no mould lines show after that.
the art work deserves a 9 on its own and as for the mold line on the tyre they are almost impossible to get rid of, a design flaw, you can try filling the gap with milliput then sand it flat or apply pva glue mixed with sand and brown paint and try n bluff it as mud but still im impressed with the free hand
As nice as it is, the shield on the front looks totally out of place, hand shield might have been better placed on the back of th bike. Not sure of th e mold line on the wheel, nice though
