Halbarad, Crusader Cleric
This guy started as one just to knock the rust off my painting fingers, but I ended up liking him so much I finished him out. Metallics were fun to play with (using Automaton's fantastic tutorial) though photographing them's a lot harder than photographing NMM, I found :). The symbol on his chest and back is all freehand, as is the faux-writing in the book and the mosaic on the ground (which was done out to be tiled patterns of the Crusader symbol). All in all a pretty fun piece to paint. As always, you can go to my personal website if you have questions about colors used and whatnot, as I have a fun little widget I made solely for the purpose of being able to let people see it and not have to answer questions repeatedly (I'll let you decide if I'm clever or lazy for it :) ).
