Macharius with Vulcan Megabolter

I really like the way this model turned out, even if it is quite a bit darker than I intended it to be. This thing was probably the easiest Forgeworld model that I have ever assembled. Everything but the stubber barrels was perfect and those just took a bit of hot water to straighten. Tell me what you thing! I would be happy to hear from you!

Disagree with Cassar. Have you ever attempted a vehicle in this style before? If you had (as I have) you'd know that wouldn't be right. Only downsides are a lack of close ups and the vulcan barrels look too new and shiny compared to the rest of the vehicle. They could have used some scorching.

cassar, the tracks are scorched brown mixed with black, made to look dusty with MIG pigments, and then rubbed with powdered graphite. The dust on the body needed to be carried through onto the tracks. Mithril silver with brown wash would have looked new and clean as compared to the rest of the tank. Weathering must show balance or it will throw your whole mini off.
