Sgt Telion of the Tenth Company
Sgt Telion of the Ultramarines Chapter's Tenth (Scout) Company is, in the current background, an old man (for a space marine) of several centuries' service. But when I got the mini and found that the head was a separate piece, I went straight to my bitz box to see what else could go in its place. When my hand fell upon the head of an Imperial missionary that had been languishing there for some seven years, the decision was made. The model, then, represents Telion when he first rejected a place in the First (Veteran) Company to remain with the Tenth as an instructor. This came shortly before the invasion of Hivefleet Behemoth and, in the dying days of the Ultramarines' bloody reclamation of their homeworld of Macragge, Sgt Telion was dispatched ahead of the Second Company relief force to the world's polar fortress, where the First Company was reported to be holding out against the Tyranid assault. In the wake of this punishing campaign, the entire First Company was lost in their valiant holding action. It was not lost on Sgt Telion that his decision to remain with the Tenth had probably saved his life.
