Dragon Lord

All my models are designed for Warhammer gameplay, so must be robust enough to survive several years on the table. I find fine detail often lost on tabletop miniatures, but that focus on composition and movement always looks impressive. This dragon is a simple conversion from the GW HE dragon, with a metal rod in its' mouth connecting it to the base. The flame is then sculpted with greenstuff and you can see my first attempt at light source painting. It is difficult to do justice to such a large model with photos that capture its' entirety. Try taking some photos in front of a dark background. With the dark shading on the burning Empire soldiers it would probably look more realistic! Anyway, I quite like it, nice little diorama and still usable in games.
