Here's the 3rd unit I've ever painted :) Highlights getting better, still having trouble shading white though. Also, anyone else suffering from GW matt varnish eating away paint??? I apply varnish when paint is dry, but thin layers get stripped (see gem on ankle of top right mini for example). Annoying! First attempt at freehand on the tabards too.

Ah cheers. Yeah it's Dark Angels green basecoat, moved through to Scorpion green. I added a dab of yellow into the mix at the very end but otherwise that's it.

Hi, very nice job in my opinion. I really like these green gems, can u tell what colors have u used for them?

These are so much better than a 5.5. Two things, 1) Thin your paints more and put more coats on 2) paint white up from light grey.... several thin coats of white over grey. Gets away from the bobbliness you have on the guns. Your gems are lovely though
