forsaken contradiction

I fell in love with this model before it had even been made! Ever since i bought Brom's books, I wanted to sculpt this guy. Thankfully Tom Meier (I believe) got there first and captured the feel beautifully. I really wanted to create a little scene with this, maybe explain/suggest the reason for the emotion. A couple of used cartridges and and some blood raises a few questions, maybe giving an idea as to why he is the way he is I re-sculpted his chin and the cartridges were made from gs rod that was cut to size and drilled. The rest of the base was lightly textured and pastels were used to cover it and make it look dusty I hope you like it, it's my favourite piece to date c+c welcome though

I don't know how I missed this first time round....Just love the emotion you've put into it. The scene is very understated, but captured wonderfully. Obviously, he's opened his bible to the 'Thou Shalt Not Kill' bit, and is mourning his deed. Really wonderful stuff Tim!! The best I've seen from you.

As with all your minis i am astounded how your use of realistic colouring, dust/dirt effects and choice of style-heavy sculpts combine to a cool great whole! almost as astounding is the comparatively low score those minis seem to get, they are seriously unterrated in my book! The world seems to be not yet ready for style... Keep it up, though!
