Adeptus Arbites, the boys in black

Okay, I tried to remember the original studio paint scheme for these guys, but that was a long time ago. Furthermore, I couldn't find any reference images for them. So here they are, Classic Adeptus Arbites. One has white glimmer, the other doesn't. Which looks better?

Lovely to see these great models coming up. I used to have a whole army of them. The white glimmer doesn't work, IMO. But I think a bit of gloss varnish on the black areas of armour would look seriously cool.
