My take on Ragnar Blackmane

Built from various parts, inspired by the cover of the space wolf omnibus. I still need to do a base and the lighting doesn't do the blended finish any justice but hey, the pose was the important thing. I wanted a believable charge.

The model was based on the new UK omnibus cover pose - albeit in a mirror image due to the parts I had to play with. I'm not very good at using green stuff so its reshaped plastic all the way. The book cover stance means you can't see the backpack, but simultaneously, because you can't see it means its a standard one, not a wolf one.. As to his hair - I 'm crap at painting hair, thats just how it came out. Although according to the books its because of teh wolf pelt he wears that he is called blackmane, yet none of the pictures drawn of him i've found illustrate that.

How does it come Ragnar's hair is very grayish and not black according to the Space Wolves Novels? The backpack's exhausts would benefit from having the wolves heads. Other than that I think your take on Ragnar Blackmane character is justified. :J
