yeah hello. thanks for the comment and youre right freehands would be good.no it's not the sponge technique, it was a little long but it's look better i think.just do it with a brush. the color is a mixture between snob green blue enchanted and rotting flesh. i dont know the balance it was one layer at first. then i ligthen with rotting flesh(washings).
i make some darkness effects under the knees and arms. look the other page on my profil of this fig you'll see better the "sponge" effects
really great micro painting on the battle damage. did you use the sponge technique? the blending on the armor is executed equally awesomely. i am jealous. please teach me! just a note on the rating: everything you did paint on this mini is 9 quality, no doubt, but I gave an 8 because it seems to be missing just a little bit...maybe some freehands for symbols etc? excellent work.
