Ceci est une figurine récente, peinte en NMM.
Elle est très colorée en fait, avec différentes variations de reflets. J'ai ajouté un grossissement pour restituer le travails de couleurs et d'effet.

I use water painting, although I used to paint with oils many years ago.
I don't like so much blending colours with multi shading, although smooth shading seems to be the rule on CMON.
I prefer contrasting with many colours, as in oil painting. This is why i published a close up, which looks like oil painting.
I like the icicle reflection, if this is your intention. It has some comic-like style, but as i understand, it begets from your choice of oil-colour? The crossovers are very heavy, but i wouldn't say there is only one painting-style for classical oil paintings as well. Degas, Monet, Manet and so on,... i will try it out sometime by myself.
