Another Bronze Golden Demon Winner - Close ups - Space Marine Captain vs Orc War
This is my diorama from the 2009 Games Day in Baltimore. This is my first Golden Demon and I'm really very proud of the entire piece. A shot of the whole diorama is available on CMON at: http://www.coolminiornot.com/222166 The orc is pretty much stock with the obvious exception of the eviscerated squig. I had to make a fair number of modifications to the space marine, however. The standard, banners and his left arm are all scratch built. I didn't make any changes to the sword, though. This was a really fun project. I particularly enjoyed painting the orc. It is a fantastic mini with tons of character. Thanks to my buddy Van for taking the pics. I'm complete crap with a camera.
