Hey guys this is a mini diorama i made back in january. The water was ment to be transparent but the whole process with the clear resin went a bit pear shaped. There are bodies and a few other details that you would have been able to see in the bottom that are no longer visable. i smoothed the top off the water with multiput and painted it green, then a few layers of water effects to finish. its not what i wanted to do but its stiil ok i think. thanks for looking. bd

I believe gw water effects is basically just acrylic gloss medium. U should try using a proper two part resin like andrea miniatures artificial water or one of the other brands.

That look sweet, prehaps a little gloss or something around his knees to show that they're wet? Just a thought, well done. ^_^

Sorry to hear that the resin didn't really work out - its frustrating when things don't go to plan! I have been having trouble with GW water effects recently so I know your pain! I think this is a really niece piece and, actually I like the green sludge effect! Great work!
