CAV Dragonfly
This was my entry into the ReaperCon '09 Ordnance category and I was very fortunate to win the gold Sophie this year. The Adon faction in the CAV universe is akin to the elves, so I went with an organic look to the Dragonfly, modeling it after the Blue Darner dragonfly, with the wing veins and tail segments done in freehand. A huge thanks goes out to Talespinner and Demonherald for their advice on this project, as well as the folks over at Reaper that put on a great con. I had a very good time and thoroughly enjoyed meeting the some of the painters I have long admired. As always, comments and critiques welcome and wanted!
