Another mini

As you can see hear, the gamesworkshop eavy metal team ripped off my high elf colour scheme lol. I decided to just paint this dude with classic high elf colours. I tried to get the white nice and smooth by building it up over a grey basecoat with lots of thinned out layers. This guy could do with gettin out in the sun a bit more with his pasty skin n he looks a bit of a greb with that tangled brown hair but I think it suits him and creates some colour contrast. I tried to make the metals look realistic. I actually painted this for a local GW competition n I rushed some detail bits and stayed up helluva late to get it done for the saturday deadline n when i got there, they told me they'd moved the deadline to 2 weeks later! I felt like doing what my high elf miniature is doin, holding up a big axe n chopping things up! Anyway, I got 2nd but the comp was a bunch of nonesense, it was just greasy teenagers choosing the newest miniatures with the biggest guns, not exactly golden demon standard judging so I won't bother with those again. If you want to "git yo comment own" then make it so.

Come to think of it, sounds like a bunch of nerd talk.

Hi there, cheers for the info. This is my first mini entry on this sight along with one other so I didn't realise people put so much importance on the title. I'll add a description in the future. However, I think that kind of thinking is petty. People should grow up.

You've got to put a name to your mini... A LOT of people here are of the opinion that if you're too lazy to type in what it is in the title, they aren't going to rate it as well as it might deserve. See the various threads in the forums about this, if you don't believe me. Note: I am not actually voting on it, but a number has to be there with the comment.
