Angry Big Boris

I enjoyed painting my last 'Big Boris' (ID 12776) so much that I couldnt stop myself buying a second one! This time round I went for the NMM look. I have painted this model over my usual black undercoat, but have tried to keep the flesh tones smoother and not use such dark shading. I have also used a sky/earth Non Metalic Metal (NMM) technique on the metal plates of his belt, and a flat-steel look on his axe-head. What you can't see very well from this picture is my first attempt at sky/earth gold on the knife at his side. This NMM is in stark contrast to the first Boris I painted, where I used a very dark and worn-looking Bolt Gun metal paint with a thinned down snakebite leather/chaos black wash over it.

Thats frustrating - the shaven head on this model is actually vastly superior to the other boris I painted! I think the image is a little too yellow... that could be effecting it... Cheers Jake!!
