Grey Knight Terminators

Grey Knight Terminators, with a custom Brother-Captain or Grand Master. Lots of Forge World purity seals, the character's got a magnetised head and arms for optional weapon swaps. Also, the swords literally glow in daylight, as they're painted with different shades of UV-reactive paint (and they glow faintly in the dark, too). The "blue" picture is the model under a UV light, but the other photos are not edited at all, that's really how bright they look!

To everyone who's asked; I used Citadel paints to shade and highlight the swords (Scorpion green et al), but once that was done I airbrushed several layers of thinned Gunze Mr Color lacquer, slowly mixing up from their UV-reactive green to their UV-reactive yellow. I then mixed in some unbranded Japanese glow-in-the-dark lacquer over it, and mixed a little white into the green/yellow mix before drybrushing with it. Hope that helps. :)

I third the query on the swords; what type of UV paint was used here? It has an incredible effect!

I agree sweet look to the swords. And I too would like to know specifics. Bases and metallics are REALLY slighted by the stellar swords. I would first suggest some washes to tone the metal to a more realistic (depth) shade. I would go with A dark blue or purple wash/glaze. Also, I would highlight the edges with a lighter metal, or even a small amount of white added to the base color. For the rest, I'd highlight/blend/shade the banner and freehand work. Chhers! Nicew Work!
