If you want a little tip;
I assume that you are using GW paints - If so, then try to thin them down a little. Especially when highlighting. This means its much easier to blend etc and gives an overall more natural looking effect.
Otherwise, get some Valejo paints - They are a lot thinner already.
I like the face on this mini a lot though!
Good work. You have a reason to be proud of the face for sure, but the rest of the model is a little off. I definetely know the problem, because I was in the same position only a year or so ago. The problem is that the paint is too thick. Try using a few coats of thinner paint (about 1part paint to 3parts water) and you will find it is a lot smoother. Though I will mention that if this is just for gaming and not for display, then you probably don't need to spend hours on each miniature. However, to improve in general, you will need to thin down your paints and do smoother highlights. Overal I would give all you work about a 5.5-6. Keep it up - you will improve!
