Ork Shokk Attack Gun

I painted this wayy back in 1994 when I was a Space Ork player. I'm considering re-painting it but I don't know if I should. I had originally sold this along with the rest of my orks to my old gaming friend (Whom this miniatures last name was named after "Nazrot Wolfe). I recently found him on Facebook, and he told me he still had them, then without my asking offered to GIVE them back to me. So yeah, what do you all think? Should I re-paint it with my new style and skills? Or leave it as is?

Yeah I think I'm gonna leave it. To tell you the truth, I've decided I don't like the "new ork style". The new ork style to me seems to be to make them look old, beat up, unwashed, rusted and read to fall apart. I just don't like that. I liked the good old days of bright bad moon yellow and go fasta red. I think I may paint my NEW ork minis in that same style.

the bright colours show the age and make it look dated. i would give it a couple of dark washes, maybe gryphonne sepia on the yellow and repaint the writing. that will make it fit better with modern painting styles.

I Think you should leave him , he is painted in the old skool Ork style , when Orks were still funny.
