Death Guard Marine
Growing a bit tired of painting all these Necrons I need a break and return back to my old style of painting: No fancy techniques used here just quick and dirty painting, perfect for Nurgle and his Death Guard. This model (and all the many following Nurgle Marines) is heavily inspired by all these fantastic Death Gurad models out here. So many thanks to all the painters posting their masterpieces! I imagine the Death Guard still wearing their old pre-heresy armors (or at least big parts of it) with some chaotic modifications. Thus, I chose the light grey as major color. And if you look very carefully you can even spot some rests of the old markings. I wanted to accomplish an cold and acid industrial look, so I didn't sculpt any demonic mutations. This is the prototype for the rest of my Death Guard army, and because it was such a fun to paint, there will come many others! Hope you like it, even though it is a bit dirty and the pics are not as sharp as they should be... I am grateful for any comments and/or criticism! Cheers
