Well I think you did a great job on those freehands and I think it's much better to paint chapter logo and tactical markers than to use decals. I only would do a little work on the second horn of the chapter logo, there's one little white line which dont belongs there.
Otherwise it's a beautiful many and I'm looking forward to see more of your Salamanders soon :)
There is no point in painting the chapter logo and tactical markings - it doesn't look good. It's a way better to use decals (in conjuction with decal setting fluids). Anyway, good tabletop mini with great flame effects.
