@gearbox Old fluff says they have brown skin, the change to jet black is fairly recent. Apparently having Negroid Space Marines was not ok for some reason.

greatly painted ^^ there is one thing that bothers me tho, alot of painters paint salamanders with a brown skin colour while the fluff states that their skin is jet black. still greatly painted ^^

i agree with micha that this does look better than the original mini from gw, and its painted very well too...i only wish gw had made their he'stan look like the one in the picture in the space marine codex.
