Thagrosh the Prophet of Everblight
Painted this way back when he was released. One of the very few pieces I actually enjoyed painting. I really like the sculpt and a really enjoy painting blue for some reason. If I remember correctly, the blue was Magic Blue built up to almost white and the red was Gore Red built up to Sunburst Yellow. I used wet layering to get smooth transitions without having to spend hours blending (I'm pretty bad at it). The base was thrown together to match the rest of my Everblight. It doesn't do the piece justice. The pictures aren't great, I was and still am experimenting with backgrounds and lighting. Sadly, this piece fell in the line of duty, he's now chipped up and missing a horn. I post these pictures so that we may remember him in his glory days. As always, comments are appreciated.
