Angels Vermillion Sergeant - AOBR Model Conversion
Hi! This time I present you the second finished model of my Angels Vermillion Space Marine army, brother-sergeant Tito, first squad, third company. The conversion is not quite as drastic as the Assault On Black Reach dreadnought I made ( http://www.coolminiornot.com/pics/pics13/img4a93bad4932a2.jpg ), but especially repositioning the head was a piece of work, because I had to cut it out of the collar without damaging anything :) I also worked over the legs which are a bit repositioned. Here again, my goal was a more heroic, sort of epic look for that guy. I did several things to make him more suiting his chapter (which was born out of the Blood Angels) - For example I did no weathering or battle damage to show the high standard of the artistic skills of the Angels Vermillion. His face was painted a bit older because the Blood Angels and their sons are immortal, and so I wanted him to look like a veteran of thousands of fights and hundreds of years of war. Still he is blonde - that's obligatoric for those chapters, I guess ^^ Lst thing I like to comment on is his loincloth - The sergeant is shown wiith the head of an orc waaaghboss as a trophy, but sadly I didn't get a good pic of that. Nah, maybe you may see more or less what I did there ^^ Comments and criticism of course welcome ;)
