A godly sculpt from Rackham and real pleasure to paint. As those of you who check the forum some time may know that I got this mini totally free from cfwheeler58 with only one condition - to post my wips. This great initative could be found here http://www.coolminiornot.com/forums/viewthread.php?tid=34080&page=1 All I can say to cfwheeler58 is THANK YOU for that great opportunity to paint such beautifull model and coming up with a unique giveaway-wip idea, it's really been stimulating seeing others work on similar models. I hope you'll like the mini, comments are welcomed and appreciated as always.

Really good stuff. Absolutely love the sculpt, and think the skin is spot on. Really like the base too!

absolutely love the skin, if this was based purely on the skin it would be a 10. something about hot the tones come together. other parts however, do dissapoint a little. like the axe alot but i think some glazes might pull the tones together better. the hair, when compared to the skin, seems to lack some depth, same with the leather, it barely looks highlighted. axe aft is also a little bland. on a brighter note i love the eye, some parts seem pure 10 to me others more like 7/8. the skin though, wow, no way i could give it less than a 9. good work, shame you had to finish on a tight schedule, know the feeling.

Love the colors. Great work on the eyes and the skin/hide. You might want to try photographing him with a black background as others have said it looks like a moonlight setting. Also thanks for the kind words. I am very proud to be the patron of this exercise. I am also stoked to do my Varghar as well.
