Ultramarine Red

Hey all, the first model I've attempted to paint.. ( well the third, the first two got binned :) ) By no means on par with any of the work I've seen on this site. Any constructive criticism or tips will be greatly appreciated.

Great Job! Like you I'm new too! I agree with Honk. Also, want to add p3 paints to that list. Have you tried drybrushing? I have found drubushing to help give me a lot more control over the paints. Awesome!

well, things that you'll get better with time are acurate painting, meaning those shaky lines on the shoulder rims and the knees, and thinning down your paint with water to get a more graduate color transition rather than those hard accents like on the face. do you use GW paints or similar, or acrylic paints? i'd always recommend GW or valejo because they're perfect for small scale miniatures. anywho, i think this is great tabletop quality (5pts) plus one for it being the beginning of your "career" ;D good luck
