Snikrot

The first mini I've completed since starting to paint at the beginning of the year. Painted in the mad week leading up to GD UK and was entered into 40k monster. My first try at NMM. Any feedback would be helpful! Thanks for looking Nick

@ honourguard Thanks for the feedback on nmm and brightness, which i never thought of when painting this piece. Your piece will definitely be saved as a reference! :).

I like it. The black NMM on the feeds definitly doesnt work. Its too bright, just mix some white to the black. And lighten it up step to step. We like to lay the focus on the head of a miniature, so it is better if the brightest parts on the foots are just grey, not white. Its hard to explain in a foreign language.. I paint in NMM too, on this mini I used many dark metals http://www.coolminiornot.com/231836 maybe it helps a bit. I know I have much to improve too :P P.s the NMM on the swords is better, I would add some rust or blood on it, its a easy trick to cover, parts which arent so well blended.. regards HonourGuard

Nice mini and contrast, but too much white background and too much black base.
