Gorten Starter Set
hey CMON... thanks to the magnify option, i present a decent sized pic of the Gorten starter set... i was hired to paint one of each of the starter sets for Privateer Press back in '05... this was the first time i was allowed to do whatever i wanted paint-wise... since Ali Mcvey had already done the grey scheme to perfection, i chose to paint the group up based on some of the artwork in the Escalation rulebook... Gorten's beige armour was a nice experiment... the little red Gunbunnies are actually more of a brick red in real life... the shark mouth on the Driller was based on an illustration in the book, and was just too fun to pass up... i believe it's the only time i've had a chance to use this classic design... this starter set has since travelled to conventions around the world, and been on display in the PP booth... thanks for lookin'... cheers jah
