Leman Russ Battle Tank
Comission work. Customer wanted a piece both for gaming and for display. This is my first real attempt at painting vehicles. After reading some books and loads of articles about modelling and weathering armor, I gathered enough courage to try all those new techniques. I've used an airbrush for the main painting and camouflage scheme, oils for weathering and outlining and acrylics for details and some weathering too. Far from a masterpiece but I'm very proud of it (I really regretted handing it to the customer...). After this first try, I painted another Leman Russ and a Chimera (from which I have no pics unluckily), and I'm currently working in a couple of Sentinels. And yes, I'm very tempted to start my own IG army... Regards!
