I think that Number1gamerash was only talking about the base when he made that comment, cos the rest of the modal is very good. But the base is not up to the same standard!

It definitelly deserves more than 6 . The metals could use some more attention. Maybe pick up some parts and add some more color variation. Or just add some rust. The skin is great and the highlights are very good. I don't think it's just washes.

I think it is well done. "no effort base hilight wash" are you serious? Dont listen to him, he doesnt know what he speaks. Good job, keep up the nice painting
