Painted this up to enter a local painting competition and to add another mage to my army. The base model is a Maiden Guard Champion with the spear replaced with the top of the banner pole of a Maiden Guard Standard Bearer.
at first sight the mini looks ugly, but if you take a closer look you notice that only the hair is ugly, the rest of the mini is actually quite good (8 I guess) but the hair... it's so destracting.. a more reallistic dark blonde/light brownish colour would look far better.. keep it up! :D
