Comments and Constructive Criticism welcome!
I've been trying hard to get good quality pictures and trying to get used to GIMP (not to mention my painting tehcniques, etc.). What do you think?

Thanks for the comment. I was beginning to wonder if anyone would ever comment on any of my submissions. You are the first! I agree. I struggle to get more contrast with smooth transitions between them. I will keep practicing! Thanks again.
This is an overall nicely done miniature; your colors are clean and crisp and have no bleeding anywhere. The biggest thing I do see with this miniature though is his beard and face. They just don’t look fully completed compared to the body and weapons. The paint looks a bit thick on the beard and doesn’t seem to have any contrast to let you see that it has depth to it. Great job on the smaller details as well.
