I scratchbuilt this from Crayola Model Magic air-dry sculpting compound. I used brass wire as a simple armature.
The teeth are toothpick ends, and the claws are cut-down coffee stirrers.
Awesome custom model! Looks like it jumped out of the Monster Manual II! The paint job does a great job at making it look sickly/undead. How long did it take you to sculpt/build it? Did you use a wire armature or anything in the middle to fill the void, or is the whole monster made of the sculpting compound? I ask because I want to try and make one myself for my own 3.5 AoW campaign and any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated!
An Ulgurstasta is a monster from the D&D fiend folio, and no mini of it has been produced for the game. I was running the Age of Worms adventure path from Dungeon magazine and these appear.
Nasty monsters in D&D 3.5 edition.
