Thanks for the comment! The "blue" feathers are actually meant to be black, though I was trying a new technique of highlighting black with blue. Also, those aren't eggs, those are supposed to be small mushrooms ;) .
This is good subject matter and I like the choice of colour for the majority of the feather work...good pick of nice yellow for the feet and beak too.
I dont like the blue and white feathers as much though..this looks like it clashes a bit with the "plainer" feather work...but I guess this is the clash of fantasy colours with a figure that is based on reality...albeit a giant version!
The base lets it down a bit...big rocks is cool..but the stick looks too big on the base as a whole. However...are those eggs I see down there...nice touch.
