This was my first foray into digital photography. I've posted a scan of this guy with a traditional camera and scan. That one didn't turn out too well. This pic shows all of my flaws as a painter, so maybe I should stick to bad scans.... Comments, even bad ones are welcome.

Love the book, and the little written bits he has all over him. You've done a fair job with highlighting the black and still allowing it to look black. The highlights are not very smooth, but I think this makes it look more like a satiny, shiny material. In fact, the only thing I don't like is his yellow gun (forgive me for the wrong terminology, I don't play LOL). I can tell that you put some highlights on it, but I really had to look. Guess I'd like to see more contrast on the thing. Great face! :)
