Chaos Warrior - MNMM

I painted this clip-together Chaos Warrior as an exercise in metallic non-metallic metals (MNMM) after hearing it discussed on a podcast. It uses shades of metallic paint, mixed with a variety of other colours, to create the side-lit effect. Just so you know, I actually lit this miniature from the left when taking the picture, so you know that the effect of lighting from the right is genuinely a part of the paintjob, not my lighting set-up.

great! i tried mnmm once, but i think i went a bit over the top. i tried to do metallic-sky-earth-non-metallic-metal... (check out the chain combo on that one!) painting is good, but the model itself isn't too great (how could it be though?) and your colour choices aren't my cup of tea. but well done!

Nice job I like the colour of the metal alot. The only thing I would change is to break up the mini a bit by using different colours, such as a silver for the chainmail between his legs, or the axe head.
