I think your painting skills are really good, I do not like the muted colors.

Vinces, you can't do that by dry-brushing. The base was done with dry-brushing and you can see the grainyness.

I really like it! The base helps a lot while your gradients are superb wonder how you achieve them? Drybrush or loads of layers? My only suggestion would be to add further detail to the gun.
