I mixed the color I used for the skin myself, and painted this one, along with four underlings. He is wearing a dark golden chain shirt, which I then washed with thinned black.
You will soon be learning that photography skills are just as important as painting skills, and a scanner might not be enough to pull out the details of such a small figure. It's tough to see and give a good comment.
After saying that, here are some directions to go into. You have a good color selection, and now you want to bring out the details. Some darker shadings to mimic shadows would help. For instances, a small darker metal line between the blade and the riveted crosspiece would help the weapon. (This can be furthered to darkening the lower angles of the blade and lightening the upper angles of the blade.) Some darker brown colors on the underside of the arm muscles might help. Don't have it too dark -- you want it to blend in with the skin color; it might take multiple shades from your red-brown to a black-red-brown mixture.
Finally, there is some glare on the figure; you might want to hit the figure with some sort of flat protective coat -- Testor's dullcoat is my favorite.
