Seems interesting. Are you using the flash?. Try to use two desk lamps instead, and a bright background. Painting wise, seems a solid piece, but the pic is killing it.
the pic is surely not good... i like the conversion, but it seems the face lacks any shading or highlightning and the camera flash reflects on the armour...
has it a gloss varnish? i suggest to post a better pic using 2 lights from both sides and a closer shot!
