VOID: Major Icharus Trask (repost)
My first finished mini for nearly 2 months: Major Icharus Trask, shock marine hero for I-Kores VOID game. I needed some time and stripped minis to come up with a suitable camo pattern for my shock marines. I wanted some sort of urban scheme as they are pure close combat troops and therefore would be very usefull in cities and other urban terrain with only short LOS. The main weapon of shock marines is the vibro scythe. So I painted the blade of the scythe green to simulate an energy blade. It was the first time for me to paint something like this. Any comments and tips are welcome. Unfortunately the pics don't show the blades too well, they are highlighted much more IRL. I reposted this mini because I changed the base to a more suitable one and did some minor improvements. Since it's a gaming mini I don't bother highlighting the armor too much, just some darker shadows where the plates met and some quick highlights here and there. Any comments are welcome ;)
