Samurai Imperial Guard
Hi folks! So this is Mako no Shouta, a veteran soldier of the 45. Junkendo. He and his squad were to defend a military hospital against a horde of chaos cultist and an aspiring champion. Almost everyone of his comrades were slaughtered, but he endured until he had nearly emptied the very last cell of his Mk. 38 lascarbine. With the last bit of power the cell could supply he fired one last carefully aimed shot, right into the champion's bare face. He fell, and frightened because of their master's defeat, the remaining chaos forces retreated. Mako then was celebrated as a hero and rewarded his world's own markman's honour (the japanese word for "gun" on his left shoulderpad). Growing more and more bitter and overwhelmed with grief of having lost his entrusted battle brothers, he even tried to summon more of the chaos cultists by painting an inviting Menaki Neko onto his gun. Vengeance is his only thought. Hope you like this little fellow, his is my entry for a painting competition on 40k Fanworld, a german fan community. Anything left to say? Dunno. Please rate 'em and tell me what you think about paintjob, conversions and his background. Thanks!
