The Deff Skwad

I've often mentioned that I like to speed-paint. Well, I really put my skills to the test this week, when I volunteered to help out at the Gloucester Association for the Deaf Family Fun Day. I originally offered to play. Then I offered to bring a small Ork army. Then I offered to donate the army for a raffle to raise money for the charity. Then I remembered (on Wednesday afternoon, this week, with the event this morning, Saturday 10th April) that I hadn't painted the army, yet. It was undercoated, and I'd painted, I think, three Ork boyz and, in that state, the army had sat for something like six months. So this is what I managed to punch out in the in-between time and, I need to emphasize, I had Wednesday afternoon and Thursday from 0900 to 1600 in which to paint, then I was on childcare duties for Friday. So this represents about 12-14 hours of work, total. I'll let you know how much we raised! R. P.S. Yes, the pun in the title is absolutely deliberate.
