Thanks for the feedback. I actually watered down charadon granite for the base coat of the armour, so its a little grewish-brown. Thanks for the heads up for the service studs, im a learner driver to 40k so learning the fluff as I progress, will definately colour them and add some more white, perhaps a white knee with some dark script?
Not a bad attempt i must say, just some points for you thinning your paint will always help you out try not to use a lot of grey to highlight it ends up looking like a grey templar! You seem to have nailed the weathering on his tabbard on his front but the banner could use a bit more. The banner is good not too much and not to little. the face seems to be shaded well and his eyes dont look startled wich i used to have a hard time with but it looks like you forgot his service studs ! The gold on his chest wings is really good.
Maybe a little white scriptures on his pistol and armour would help break up the the colour of the armour perhaps.
All in all it is a great benchmark to work off for the rest of your army.
