Red Corsairs, Golden Bolter Silver Winner
hey CMON... here is the pic that i used for my Golden Bolter painting contest entry back in February... we had to submit a pic no more than 800 pixels wide... i have no idea how i won Silver with this rubbish photo, but i'm stoked anyway... the plan is to add some more details, and get some good pics, before i put 'em up on ebay next month... they just don't seem finished to me yet... i know i should have added some Chaos Marine parts, but all my stuff is in storage up in Alaska... i have so many boxes of CM, there is no way i was gonna buy more... the Space Wolves sprue has some awesome bits anyway, so that's what i used... to be honest, this was just a chance to paint the two coolest heads off of the new sprue, with some cool facial tattoos, or warpaint, and some funky hair color... i'm a big fan on the fluff in the CM codex, about the Wolves that went over to Huron's side when their ship was captured... this a game legal squad of Chaos Chosen, the elite... a good chance to use some of the coolest bits on the new sprue... i call 'em Huron's Wolves... hope you like 'em... thanks for lookin'... cheers jah
