Sorry, I too have watched waaaay to many 'B' horror movies and creepy cartoons.
That's a nice job for not painting for so long.
The blending on the skin could be a lot smoother and if it's got to be that hideous purple (no offense), you might try to lighten it up a bit and really only use the darkest tone in the concarvest parts of the skin.
