I love the weathering on this model. usually, the Tau are shown as though they are coming straight off the production line (and that does seem to be in character for them), but this model gains a lot of individualty and looks like it's been in the middle of hard fighting for a long time.
More technically speaking I also love how you did not spread the damage to the yellow color evenly and randomly but made it look like larger pieces of color were lost from heat, rust or other influences, and how you really make it look like the bare metal is shining through the layers of paint. Did you do this by painting metal on top of yellow, or did you really undercoat in metal and then put yellow on top?
