Hi, I used a white primer. The armor is then completely painted with bleached bone. The shadows are then painted with a mix of graveyard earth / bleached bone. More graveyard is added the deeper it gets. I find it easier and faster to paint the shadows directly where they should be rather then painting the whole model in a darker color first. For the higlights I used a mix of skull white / bleached bone. Pure white for the edges.
