hard to paint - for sure (in fact I never finished mine).
... turned out well - the understatement of the year. The flesh tones and transitions are great. I especially like the idea with the glowing bug on the sword. I'll definitely have to steal that. One thing bothers me: the scenic base in the front section of the diorama base looks as it is fixed. Why didn't you cut it down properly? Furthermore the barrels look like the haven't got the same amount of attention when painting the base than the rest; okay those are only barrels, but in my opinion it lets down the overall quality, whilst the dead end sign is really nice. Still a 10.
