Hi CMON-folks, Here is my latest finished miniature. Like the rest of my Eldar army, I wanted to use purple and violet tones for my Banshees too. However, as I think that Banshees should be somewhat ghostly-looking, I decided to de-saturate the colors quite a bit. I am more or less happy how it turned out. There was a little accident right at the end when I sprayed varnish on it - the varnish resulted in a dusty-looking layer and I thought I had ruined it. I then put A LOT more varnish on top which got rid of the "dust layer", but it also killed some of the more subtle color glazes that I had worked into the blades, etc. Anyway, next time I will put the varnish on with my airbrush. :) Cheers, Thomas

Really, really nice, super smooth, lovely colours - would like to see more of your Eldar in this style.

I had that same problem with spray on varnish on my druid mini! A lot of varnish applied by brush fixed it but at the cost of some of the detail :( My friend said the temp has to be just perfect to use the spray varnish, otherwise it bubbles. Your mini is amazing though, snafu or not!
